Power Center CDC has a vision to completely redefine how ministry, commercial and government entities work together to revitalize sustainable Kingdom communities. As a result, we are developing the Eden Square Town Center.
The project is a comprehensive community model that will be constructed over a 43-acre site that includes The Power Center Academy Middle School, a performing arts center, that will also serve as a safe space, and nine affordable homes. Future plans consist of senior housing, a wellness center and possibly niche retail. The Eden Square Town Center will be an epicenter, representing a resurgence ; for not only Hickory Hill, but for Memphis and its surrounding areas. PCCDC is proud to partner with a number of public and private entities, including New Direction Christian Church, City of Memphis, Shelby County Government, and Habitat of Humanity of Greater Memphis.
Eden Square will become a central gathering place– an element of change and rebirth for the community. It will cultivate a positive environment which was once home to a blighted and abandoned apartment complex. It will now be a place where families can live, work and be educated in a single, distinct area.
